At Paws Place Rescue Inc., the health and well-being of every animal in our care is a top priority. All of our adoptions include a custom adoption contract that outlines the medical care each animal has received prior to placement.
All dogs and cats adopted through our rescue are fully vaccinated and spayed or neutered before adoption whenever possible. In situations where an animal is adopted before these procedures are completed due to age or medical timing, Paws Place Rescue Inc. covers and prepays for the required procedures to ensure they are completed.
Our intake protocols and veterinary care timelines are based on the animal’s age, health status, and medical needs, which helps us determine the appropriate schedule for vaccinations, sterilization, and other necessary treatments.
This commitment ensures that every animal adopted from Paws Place Rescue begins their new life with a strong foundation of proper medical care and responsible placement.
Adoption Process
Bringing Home a New Family Member
At Paws Place Rescue Inc., our goal is to ensure every animal is placed in a safe, loving, and responsible home. Our adoption process is designed to create the best possible match between our animals and their future families.
1. Submit an Adoption Application
Interested adopters begin by completing our Adoption Application Form. This helps us learn about your home environment, lifestyle, and the type of companion you are looking for.
2. Application Review
Our team carefully reviews each application to ensure the animal and adopter are a good match. We may contact you for additional information or clarification during this step.
3. Meet & Greet
Once your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet so you can spend time with the animal and make sure it’s the right fit for your home.
4. Adoption Approval
If the match is successful, we will finalize the adoption paperwork and review important information regarding care, training, and transitioning the animal into your home.
5. Welcome to the Paws Place Family
Once the adoption is complete, you officially become part of the Paws Place Rescue family. We remain available as a resource for guidance and support throughout your pet’s life.
